Taken in 2006 from the same standpoint as the 1913 picture, the barn of Lime Tree Cottage is on the left (though the roofline and front are a little changed) and the Church is just visible in the background
This is now Vyne Road

A view over fields from what is known
locally as  'Electricity Road'

The pylons don't exactly dominate the village
and are not universally appreciated
but are a presence all the same!
